Shanghai People’s Fine Arts Publishing House has been a leading publisher of fine arts since 1952. For the past 50 years we have abided by the concept of “communicating knowledge and accumulating culture”, and have published over 16,000 titles of books with the total printing number reaching 6 billion. Our products have been granted over 200 excellent book awards at home and abroad, and are shown to enjoy a high reputation and a widespread popularity among readers.
Over the years, facing fierce market competitions, we have made great efforts to improve the inner system, update editing concepts and adjust publishing structure to adapting to market demand. We now have editorial offices of fine arts, photography, comic strip, teaching materials, co-publishing and international publishing, and 5 journals editorial departments. We also established several servicing companies to meeting the market demands.
In recent years, we explored new products including titles of design, comic, design education, postcard and tourism, and prompted series of peculiar titles.
